What does it mean to be a member?

Being a member of Madison Women in Tech is 100% free, and there are no requirements. Seriously. You can attend as few or as many events as you like.

While we prefer you sign up via Meetup.com so that we have accurate RSVP estimates, you're welcome to simply access event information here via our website and attend as you like! 

As a WiT member, you will have access to our twice-monthly newsletter, which includes information about upcoming events and career opportunities. 

We will not share your personal information EVER.

Do I have to be a programmer or work in tech?

Nope! You do not have to be a programmer to join WiT. Any woman or nonbinary person interested in or working in technology is welcome at ALL of our events. Our members are all at vastly different stages of their tech careers. Others just want to learn more about working in tech, or simply want an opportunity to network and socialize.  

Are there any attendance requirements?

Nope! There are no attendance requirements.  You can attend as few or as many events as you like.

What kind of events does Madison Women in Tech host?

WiT hosts a large variety of events. We frequently seek input from members to help us plan programming that's timely and responsive to current events and member needs.  WiT hosts social and networking events, career development events, and community and volunteer events. WiT events are free or $5 or less,  and for in-person events, are scheduled at accessible locations.
